Coaches Making a Difference
April 12th, 2007A coach can make all the difference in the world to a player and her continued interest in the game. This I know through experience for my self and my kids. Kids can tell when coaches show a sincere enjoyment in sharing their knowledge. It’s almost like dealing with pets…animals usually just sense it. This is extremely important in gaining the trust and respect of the players. Once you have that, it makes it much easier, not exact, but easier, to guide them through practices and games you’ve prepared.
What has made a difference for you? Tell me some of your stories.
